Dr Barakat, Minister of Higher Education, discussed with the Saudi Ambassador in Damascus relations of scientific cooperation and academic exchange between educational institutions in Syria and Saudi Arabia, and institutionalizing these relations through a scientific agreement between the two countries ... The meeting also discussed preparations for the establishment of a "Cultural Week" for the Syrian universities on campuses of Saudi universities and the possibility of setting up this scientific activity with the beginning of the academic year in Saudi universities to ensure effective participation and benefit from the expertise of Syrian professors and doctors taking part. The two sides ensured the continuity of communication of scientific and cultural exchanges which will deepen the ties of amity and cooperation rooted in the heart of one nation in two countries.
